As you walk up to the bike a quick sweep of the eye should tell you that:

  1. there are no large puddles under the bike indicating a leak.
  2. the tire tread is good
  3. the chain has no excess slack
  4. the oil level is good

  1. wash the bike
  2. adjust the tire pressures
  3. adjust the fluid levels
  4. lubricate and adjust the chain and cables
