Laser Measurer

Single Measurement

• The device will enter Single Measurement mode when powered ON.
• Press <<MEAS after aiming at target to get result on the bottom of the screen.
• Press <<MEAS again to measure new data.

Continuous Measurement

• Long press <<MEAS to switch to Continuous Measurement mode
• Sweep slowly the laser back and forth and up and down over the desired target point and press <<MEAS to stop

Area Measurement

• Long press MENU until the flashing logo displays the Area Measurement mode
• Length: Press <<MEAS to get fthe first distance from the target point
• Width: Press <<MEAS to again to get the second distance from the second target point
• The area will be calculated and displayed accordingly

Volume Measurement

• Short press MENU until the flashing logo displays the Volument Measurement mode
• Length: Press <<MEAS to get fthe first distance from the target point
• Width: Press <<MEAS to again to get the second distance from the second target point
• Height: Press <<MEAS to again to get the third distance from the third target point
• The volume will be calculated and displayed accordingly

Pythagoras (2-Point)

• Short press MENU until the flashing logo display the Pythagoras (2-point) measurement mode
• First line: press <<MEAS to get fthe first distance
• Second line: press <<MEAS to get the second distance
• The volume will be calculated and displayed accordingly

Hook Usage and Tape Lock

Usage of Hook: The hook is movable, used for true zero correction and to ensure accurate measurements. The moving distance is the thickness of the hook :

• Method A : The hook retracts when the tape is measuring against a wall
• Method B : The hook extrudes when the tape is measuring from an edge

Magnetic Hook

It can be absorbed on metallic materials to measure length

Tape Lock

Press the lock for the tape to slowly retract. Releae the button to stop the retraction.

Error Codes

• 204 : Calculation error. Repeat the procedure.
• 220 : Low battery
• 255 : Received signal too weak or measurement time too long. Improve the reflective surface (use target plate, white paper).
• 256 : Received signal is too strong. Improve the reflective surface (use target plate, or don't aim at strong light).
• 261 : Out of measuring range.
• 500 : Hardware error. Switch on/off the device.
